News

News module is used for easy news and articles placement in the website.
News are grouped into specific groups. And you can choose to show one group in one page the other group in another page.
 
 
How to create a news group:
  • Click the "News" tab in the main menu.
  • Click the menu "Groups"
  • Click "Create group"
  • Enter the name in the according language
  • Select if news readers will be able to comment or not and click "Submit"
How to edit the name of a group:
  • Click the "Edit" icon
  • Input your changes and click submit
How to delete a group:
  • Click the "Remove" icon next to the group you wish to delete.
How to add an article:
  • Click on a name of the group the article should be in.
  • Click "Create new".
  • Input your information and click submit.
 
Types of fields in new article window:
Start date - time when the article will appear in the page. Format: year:month:day hour:minute.
                    If left empty the article will appear instantly.
End date- time when the article will be moved to archive. Format: year:moth:day hour :minute
                    If left empty the article will remain in the news section.
URL - link to the source of the article, or to additional information.
Name - the name of the article
Author - information about the author (Name, Alias, email etc..)
Keyword - words that entered in a search website would link to this article.
Introduction - some part of text that would attract the reader to read the whole article.
Content - main story or information. To edit click ?Edit? button or double click the content area. Depending on your design of the website content may be shown in the news section,or it will appear  only when clicked on the introduction.
Place - information about the origin of the news. Ex. ?New York Times? , New York 1999
